Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Detection, tracking and recognition of moving targets at low signal-to-clutter/noise ratio is a very important issue in radar systems. Traditionally, a range-azimuth cell return is compared against a threshold and a detection decision is made. Once this is done, the information for that cell is discarded and other cells are considered. To improve the detectability of a target, it is desirable to use past scan information. From these points of view, we present a time-space Hough transform, a computationally efficient algorithm to detect target tracks in time-space data maps, for radar detection and track. Especially, we consider the effect of quantization on the time-space Hough transform. Simulation results show that the time-space Hough transform is a viable solution for radar detection and track in low SNR environment.
