Studies on Management and Intelligibility Check in a Online Learning System for Elementary Education

Abstract(in English) According to the new course of study system since 2002 in Japan, the education which brings school pupil's ability and individual character development is required. In this system, users (elementary and junior high school pupils) can study interesting subjects individually. Specific embodiments of the learning system are online registrations, online teaching, and study support system by tutor. This paper shows some results of questionnaire survey (about the education and the telecommunication functions by elementary school pupils and their parents), system architecture, results of experimental study, and system restructuring.
