A new approach and progressive support for All-around learning in theme of planning for Barrier-free by GIS Mapping Study System

Abstract(in English) This study The aim of this study is try to find out various effects on using internet and/or multi-media, especially GIS Mapping Study System that developed by Sendai Education Center, for exchange and collaboration on school learning. Four elementary schools and two junior high schools in Sendai took part in this project, and each school had all-around learning by themselves in theme of city planning for Barrier-free. The result is that children could make same viewpoint and expand their learning by using the GIS Mapping Study System, in spite of different conditions, for example, grade/number of children/learning form and substance/abilities of work on PC.
