| Abstract(in English) | Coincident with the adoption of new "school course guidelines"set forth by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, beginning in the year 2002 by elementary and middle schools and in 2003 by high schools, the government has drawn up a plan to substantially build up IT-related equipments in these schools. As far as the informatics eduxation itself is concerned, however, no clear prospect exists because the content of this course has not fully been evaluated relative to the development stages of students in the classrooms. Furthermore, numerous other problems have emerged relating to such matters as the training of teachers for the course, supporting systems during classroom instructions, and establishment of a computer assisted management system of various business matters at these schools. My presentation will evaluate more worrying aspects of the current situations and proposes a solution to the underlying problems, which should make the informatics education course a more effective one. |
