| Abstract(in English) | This paper presents an research-oriented university education at Faculty of Information and Software Science, Iwate Prefectural University. The faculty takes a chair system and students start belonging to each laboratory from their first year. It is vital for a university organization to lead not only education but research. With our system, it is possible for us give students research-oriented education at their earlier stage than in their final year as in an ordinary university system. We report some issues in this style of education. |
