Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a method for automatic weight attachment to slides in a lecture review system. First, we introduced "index of importance" to quantitatively evaluate importance of a slide. "Index oI importance" is a subjective evaluation index that is attached to slides by a teacher. Multi-Layer Neural network (MLN) is applied to attach "index of importance" to slides in the lecture review system. In MLN learning, eight non-verbal informations, such as duration of presentation of a slide, etc, are used for input of MLN and index g importance given by teachers is used for output. The experimental result showed that there exists strong correlation between "index of importance" attached by the system and that assigned by teachers. As a result, the lecture review system can properly detect key slides. Furthermore, important slides have the tendency of having a long duration of presentation or abundant drawing of digital-ink.
