| 抄録(和) | 社会現象をかなり反映していると考えられるコラムの言語的解析を行った。また、これまで解析してきた他のジャンルの特徴と比較した。このとき、bとcという2個の係数を持った指数関数を用いて文字頻度や単語頻度の特徴抽出を行った。解析した4つのコラム試料の文字頻度特性のbとcの関係は直線で表せるが、ジャーナリズムや英語の教科書、文学作品を含む様々なジャンルをまとめると、3次までの多項式で示され、「S」字特性をとることが明らかとなった。これにより、英文の文字はかなり限られた範疇で使用されていると言える。さらに、求めた式は英語圏の文字文化を数量的に示しているものと考えられる。 |
| 抄録(英) | English columns, which are assumed to represent social phenomena, were analyzed linguistically.They were also compared with other genres we had already examined.An exponential function with two coefficients b and c was used to extract some features of letter-appearance and word-appearance.It was clealy shown that while the relationship between b and c of the four column materials is expressed with a straight line, various genres including journalism, English textbooks, and literary works make S-letter shapes shown by a multinominal expression.We can conclude from this that English letters are being used in a rather restricted category.Moreover, the multinominal expression educed in this study is also thought to be able to show the letter culture of English speaking areas in metrical terms. |
