Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The linear equation in first grade is the basis of the quadratic and the simultaneous equations. There are many students who can hardly understand a linear equation in the junior high school in Japan. This paper deals with the students who can hardly understand the linear equation.By accuratcly pointing out the wrong part and cause by using the bug rule in the process of solving an equation, a system guides the students. When not finding the following spread in the process of solving the linear equation, the system guides the way of spreading out every step to the students. The system propare computation and applied quastions as teaching materials. The forms of computation and applied questions are classified into 11 and 6 kinds, respectively.According to the understanding degree of the students, the system leads so that they can solve the equation from easy to difficult form in order of the difficulty degree. We report on the system by which students can learn the linear equation on the basis of approriate guide.
