Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose new testing strategies for CAI. CAI uses these strategies to classify students who make mistakes into two groups;those who lack knowledge and those who lack intelligence. The fomer group is equipped with knowledge by means of fundamental exercises, FAQs, and advice from the teacher. The latter group is given simpler tests. With the above strategies, it is necessary to evaluate the students' intelligence. This paper also proposes an evaluation algorithm using the test results. As part of the algorithm, the system requires the students to chunk previously acquired knowledge.
