Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Harmony theory is the main subjects in music education for traditional music and even for most of contemporary music. To learn harmony theory by onself, however, is said to be difficule, because mutual depedencies among inhibition rules are so complicated and students cannot judge by themselves the correctness of their answers to given bass sequence(there is no exercise book that gives all the allowable solutions due to abundance of possible solutions). So, the authors have constructed a"Basse Dennee System(BDS)", which can generate all the allowable solutions for given bass sequences. User interface of the system is detailed and practical performance is confirmed by novice users. Applications of BDS are discussed at the end.
