| 抄録(和) | テレビやコンピュータのディスプレーを見るとき、横になって寝たままでも鑑賞できるようになっていると、特に病弱な人にとっては都合がよい。本研究では、液晶ディスプレーを時計方向/反時計方向に回転できるような、いわばディスプレー回転装置を開発している。次に、このディスプレーの回転が画面情報の理解度等にもたらす影響を測っている。つまり、画面に対する鑑賞者の角度を変化させて、画面内情報をどの程度理解度するかを実験している。その結果、0°に対する90°の理解度は、日本語の判読と顔面像の認識のいずれも、7～8割に低減することを明らかにしている。併せて、マウス操作の容易さの実験も行い、被験者が左90°に横になった場合は、0°の場合の約8割であることを確認している。 |
| 抄録(英) | For the weak people such as the old, it is desirable that they can see a computer/TV display well even if they lay down on the bed. We here developed a tool rotating the LCD clockwise and anti-clockwise. Then the rotation's influence on understanding the displayed information is measured. For the objective, we experimented the understanding degree vs.the difference between directions of viewer's central axis and the display's central axis. As a result, the understanding of Japanese and face images for the above difference of 90 degree gets seventy thru.eighty percent of that for 0 degree, et al. We also experimented the easiness of a mouse operation and obtained that the easiness for 90 degree gets about eighty percent of that for 0 degree. |
