Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With advancements in network broadband technologies, a new exhibition style is being possible for digital museums. Taking this into account, we have developed an On-Demand system which introduces the history of space development with 150 video clips. We experimented the system in a special exhibition"the Space Exhibition 2000"at the Nagoya Science Museum and during this special exhibition, approximately 50000 visitors used this system. As a result to the experiment, it has become clear the importance of developing a system that organizes the video clips into a"story"or a"rhythm". This kinds of system should also be flexible and responsive to each user's interests. In addition, we propose a new style of digital museum so that people can use it by his own needs.
