Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The computer literacy is looked upon as one of most fundamental lecture courses in the so-called information society, and applied to various education fields from the universities to the elementary, middle and high schools. In our department of information engineering, the computer-assisted lectures or computer-oriented exercises have been scheduled to our undergraduate students for a long time. In case of the education of our students, it is an important subject for computer education that students can not only make well use of computer facilities and functions but also grow up their programming abilities. In this paper, we describe the evaluation results of our programming exercise, which was assigned as a part of curriculum and whose objective is to make the programming abilities of students powerful. In this programming exercise, the composition of home-page, process management and memory management, and parallel programming are scheduled as exercise subjects. Here, the composition subject of home-page is mainly discussed. As this subject takes a role of initiae step for other successive subjects, the establishment of base of programming ability and promotion for this programming exercise are important factors.
