Rating Method of Intelligibility of Computer Language Textbook by Counting Leaxner's Mental Model Constructing Ability

Abstract(in English) A new method to rate intelligibility of textbook is proposed.In this method,a learmers are given a textbook and problems.Time to complete the problems are measured.The number of the questions asked by the learmers are also counted.Moreover,the learners' mental model constructing ability is examined by syllogism test. Then,the intelligibility of the textbook is rated based on the time to copmlete the problems,the number of the questions and the point of the syllogism test.Experimental resalts using 5 kinds of textbook for Objective-C,which is one of the computer language, shows that the intelligibility of the textbook is rated more accurately by this method than the method based on only the time to copmlete the problems.
