Abstract(in English) Distance education experiments with low rate channel of ETS-V satellite have been performed between King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang,Thailand and National Institute of Multimedia Education,Japan.Full duplex communication is selected for these experiments.The objectives are as follows;i)Studying the response of participants in various academic backgrounds,ii) Searching the optimum usage of the compressed video system for distance education,iii)Clarifying and studying the problems for intemational distance education.The system performance is evaluated and discussed by questionnaires.
