| Abstract(in English) | A voice-output communication aid was developed for graphic symbol users with severe expressive language disorders by a personal computer(Macintosh, Powerbook).Latest version of the communication aid has useful functions as follows:a liberary of prerecorded natural voives is available for use as voice-output for symbol selection;users can design a new symbol and change it; two kinds of voice qualities can be utilized as voice-output at the same time;symbol usage is automatically recorded for data analyses;etc.These functions were overviewed and some suggestions for future development were provided. |
