| 抄録(和) | 動画像にスーパーインポーズされたテキスト文の読みやすさを調べるために、ランダムドットキネマトグラム(RDK)を用いて、テキストの音読速度と視点移動への影響を検討した。画像の運動速度を5段階、運動方向は横方向と縦方向の2つである。テキストは横書きと縦書きを用いて検討した。その結果、背景画像の運動速度が23°/秒と背景を速く動かすと有意に音読速度が低下した。また、縦運動の場合は、背景画像の運動速度が上昇するに従って、音読速度が有意に低下した。この結果は、横書きでも縦書きでも同様であった。音読時の視点移動を測定したところ、横書きと縦書きとも縦方向の視点移動頻度が約70%であった。このうち、縦方向の変位は、運動方向によって有意に異なることを示した。 |
| 抄録(英) | Superimposition of text on a picture is usually a caption.This paper describes the changes in reading speed and eye-movement for Japanese text when random-dot kinematograms are used as a background movement.The motion conditions consist of five levels for the speed in the horizontal or vertical directions.The texts are presented in horizonal and vertical format.The reading speed is tha lowest for a 23 deg/s average speed of background motion.Vertical motion is the most significant in reducing the reading speed.There is approximately a 70% in the number of eye-movements for reading is the vertical direction.There is a significant difference in the length of vertical eye-movement between the motion directions.It is found that these changes occur on both format. |
