Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we investigate effects of referring to a previously written manuscript in rewriting through the analysis of the contents and quality of the text. The experiment 1 shows that not referring to a manuscript promotes the addition of new contents, but does not improve the quality of the manuscript.Based on this results, we also investigate effects of planning that is well known as good method for rewriting. The experiment 2 shows that planning changes the structure of the text, as a result, actually improves the quality of the text.
