Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Space Collaboration System (SCS) which is the inter-university educational network with satellite communications comes to be regarded as one of valid systems for distance education. The extension is required to use the SCS at the different places from the room where the SCS system has been set. This enables us to participate in the session at a different place in the same campus, and to solve the double booking problem for the SCS facility. The broadcasting of the audio and video signals and the remote operation of the transponder channel control system are necessary for realizing the multi-room use. This paper describe the methods to broadcast the AV signals and to operate the control system remotely.
