Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors constructed a remote multipoint education system by combining ISDN (INS64)lines and an intranet. This system distributes voice and video signals over ISDN lines and still pictures education materials such as photos over the intranet. This enables trainees to articipate in remote learning realistically using clear still-picture materials with perfect immediacy. The system features:(1)All education materials including video, voice and still pictures can be sent and received in both directions. (2)Connection to multiple points is allowed. (3)The system is inexpensive since it uses personal computers.
