Abstract(in English) | Bezier curves have global (not local) control. The movement of a single control vertex affects the entire curve. So, it was very difficult to obtain desired shapes. This paper proposes a CAI system for designing free-form curves by using Java/repaint method. This method enables the system to draw curves which chase the control polygons. The CAI system makes students easy to learn theory of free-form curves. |
