| Abstract(in English) | Authors have been developing a CAI system for algebra, utilizing the computer network in the campus. Characteristics of the system are receiving mathematical expressions from the students as string data, evaluating them mathematically if they include calculating error or how close they are to the answer expression, returning the comments to the students immediately. In this report, I describe the steps to evaluate the expressions in the field of simplifying rational expressions. |
