| Abstract(in English) | Distance education based on picture and sound has been conducted for a long period,and so far a lot of results have been achieved. However,according to the progress of computers,many useful information such as computer programs,articles made by word processor and even databases are stored directly on hard disk of computers,sometimes,people at a far distances need these kinds of information for educational use.To satisfy this need,especially in the Asia-Pacific regions which participate in PARTNERS project,we constructed a new computer network called PARTNERS computer network,which is based on the experimental satellite ETS-V.In this paper,the formation of the PARTNERS computer network and the experiments will be described. |
