Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The main purpose of this paper is the development of a mathematical model for learner′s problem solving process. Some feat ures of this model are shown as follows;1) the learner model is expressed by probabilistic network,2) by using estimated model parameters,we can grasp characteristics of each learner and each item at the point of problem solving process,3) we can infer learner′s problem solving process to an item from observed learner ′s response consequence, and 4) the credibility of the inference is represented by the value of likelihood. Some mathematical features are as follows:5) learner′s problem solving process is expressed b y Markov Process Model, and 6) the model is expressed by multi- dimension latent trait model. We apply this model to real data, and demonstrate some exaple of probabilistic inference.
