Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Operationality of application software varies depending on the software itself, operating system, etc. There are many factors which influence on operationality, for example, menu structure, user interface(GUI or not)and pointing device. In this study,we focused on menu selecting operation. It was aimed to evaluate software through operations history by measuring inputing real time with a keyboard emulation device developed by Matsumoto and our program. Subjects operated software and their operations histories were recorded. The results suggested that difference of menu structure affected operationality.
