Abstract(in English) The aim of this study is to design and construct an Intelligent Tutoring System(ITS)with the function of knowledge acquisition by the theory of Explanationbased Learning(EBL).In this paper,we describe the method to apply the acquired macro-rules by EBL algorithm to the system.Moreover,we propose introducing Learning Companion System(LCS)as lerning environment for ITS.That is,the system constructs a pseudo student called ″Computer Learning Compa nion″,who partially understands a subject,or has some misconceptio n about it,and so on.
