Information-Technology Engineers Examination System for New IT Personnel : The situation of operation and the prospect

Abstract(in English) To train the Advanced IT Professionals, IT Engineers Examination was modified into a form based on the Standard Curricula. The examination is executed for Advanced IT Professionals (divided in 8 personnel; System Analyst, System Auditor, etc.), Class IIT Engineer, Class IIIT Engineer and System Administrator. the number of candidates for Advanced IT Professionals amounted 120,O0O, and 5.4% of the applicants were succeeded. On Class I and Class II, the ratio of working people in succeeded appllcants is getting larger. And the ratio of succeeded appllcants for System Administrator reached the highest of all. We will still make efforts for full establishment of the examination system, and cooperate with other countries through the examination.
