Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Sign language is available as a communication means for deaf. Since the articulators for sign language are expressed in three-dimensional space, articulation of the sign is correspond to the context. But on the current sign leaning course, the inflection of articulator (allomorph) are not described. So the sign learners often articulate sign not to correspond to the context. We have been developing a sign learning system Using a personal computer. We report our research on the conventional methods of sign learning for beginners and the construction of software in our system. And examine how to design interface in our system to study the signs in a conversational style and give user an incentive to study.
