Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There is a rapid movement toward the utilization of "WWW (World Wide Web)", one of the functions of InterNet, in the field of education. First, in this paper, home pages on WWW, which were prepared by schools and opened to the public, are analyzed. Then, the gap between the information provided on these home pages and that actually sought for by users is examined. Based on the result of these investigations, the "learners participation type home page", where learners take part in the preparation of the home page of their school, is suggested together with an example of this type of home page made on trial.
