Abstract(in English) | This paper presents a game-type cooperative learning system for problem solving in information science education. The primary object of our system on the Internet consists in open-ended training for problem solving ability according to our programmed game. Each learner belongs to individual group which is composed of instructors, coaches and Iearners. Our system provides each learner with learning environment where individual learner is able to write a game program, to play a match against the other one and to discuss a cause of defeat or victory. The learner can train as a programmed game player and can learn techniques for problem extraction, problem solving and logical thinking. First, we discuss its concept and rationale of enhancing problem solving ability through our system. Second we show our system configuration and functions of our system. Last, this paper discuss system environment for learners. |
