Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a framework of learner centered CAI system using environment of World Wide Web. The framework is designed to cover differences of learner's ability in a certain range. A student model, which includes factors of learning styles, is proposed considering some aspects of personality of learners, such as thinking introversion based on the YG personality test. For realization of the proposed CAI framework, a hierarchical tree structure is used to design a course outline. Since multiple teaching materials are allowed to develop at leaf nodes, a suitable one for each learner can be selected by a knowledge-based functionality.
