Multimedia remote learning system for technical education

Abstract(in English) Multimedia communication, making full use of computer and communications technology, removes the obstacles of space and time, and makes it possible to support the cooperative activities of people over a wide area. This paper proposes the new multimedia education system among long-distance areas to assist in the creation of new ideas. First we evaluates the results of the experimentation of small scale remote learning system using multimedia technologies for technical education. The technologies using conventional personal computers enables remote learning among long-distance areas. The remote learning system of large scale using the high performance serial bus is further proposed here.
