Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Due to the development of information technology, a variety of distance-learning employing multimedia is actively tested in many places. We are now proceeding the experiment of a collaborative distance-learning by connecting two remote schools with high-speed communication lines, in search of the possibility of highly-creative educational system. This method provides both image information and PC information between two places, thus enabling the real time and bi-directional communication. At this occasion, employment of animation as an educational material is planned. What we pay attention is the potentiality of animation materials. In this paper, we will discuss the significance and expectation to the animation which would promote pupils' creativity. Further, we will estimate the results of animation materials we employed in the experiment, and then discuss the requirements animation materials should posess.
