Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed the "Braille Transformation System of Mathematical Expressions" which conforms to the LATEX rule and the UJBC (Unified Japanese Braille Code). The UJBC has been developed to decrease the disparity in information-access between the blind and sighted, and to make smooth communication possible between the blind in Japan and those in English speaking areas. For these purposes, the UJBC adopts the UBC (Unified English Braille Code) in describing the mathematical expressions and English sentences. By adopting the UJBC, the present system can be sufficiently used in advanced education in many fields of natural science.
