Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have been investigating methods of collaborative distance learning which will enable to exchange vivid images and voices realtime and interactively between two mutually remote classrooms by connecting them via network. We have expectation that this kind of method will promote pupil's demand for study and creative ability through presentation and discussion, by connecting those schools which have mutually different culture and customs. In this paper, we will propose a new method of distance learning which is conceived for international distance learning. We also will try to evaluate the results obtained by the actual distance learning experiments conducted between Japanese and German elementary schools.
