Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Nowadays, it is possible, for the visually impaired, to collect information through the softwares which read out electronic document automatically. There is, however, no text reader that can read out mathematical expressions. In this research, we have developed a "reading system of mathematical expressions" which call read out the LATEX document that includes mathematical expressions. This system is expected to help the visually impaired to study natural sciences. We have also discussed the problems to read out mathematical expressions in Japanese.
