| Abstract(in English) | Until recently, braille translation was carried out by volunteers by hand. But nowadays, using braille translation softwares, printed characters can be translated into braille auto-matically. On the other hand, because there is few practical softwares, it needs lots of man power and time to translate braille into printed characters. In this research, we have developed a system which translates UJBC (Unified Japanese Braille Code) documents written in NABCC into printed characters automatically. It will help communication between the sighted and the visually impaired. It will also serve as a verification system for braille documents and braille translation systems. |
