Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In information literacy education, it is important to train student's ability of creativity and originality as well as computer manipulation techniques. In this paper, the authors discuss a computer simulation in information literacy education. A well-designed computer simulation reveals essence of an phenomenon more than observation of the real world, and plays a role of a teaching material. For instance, in a class of computer programming, a well designed example can explain a student a complicate subject such as computer operation, grammar f a programming language, and design of algorithm. In this paper, the authors discusses a simulation of space travel for the moon and the mars, as teaching materials in information literacy education.
