Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On submitting a report with drawings via e-mail, MIME encoding could be one choice. But file size of e-mail with MIME is usually large, so disk occupied space cannot be bypassed when e-mail is sended to staff. We have already implemented an automatic report submission and managing system, but it only deals text-base e-mail. In this paper, we describe an extension of the system to write, send and examine a report with illustrative drawings. The drawing editor we provide is implemented in Java. Students can draw and send their illustrations by the editor. The association can be achieved by embedding a file name in the text as the particular command. The staff can examine the report without any extra efforts. This approach is compared favorably with MIME approach in our environment.
