Abstract(in English) We are developing an environment for developing interactive learning systems with coached problem-solving. The system provides domain independent interpreters of problem-solving strategies and coaching options defined in problem types, enabling the system to guide the student allowing him/her to make trial and error as he/she likes. The problem types are introduced according to the types of the given constraints and that of the desired. Problem-solving procedures of a problem type can be defined as recursive processes with top-level definitions as for the types of knowledge units conforming with the types of the given constraints and that of the desired. The system also provides media-represented building blocks assisting the students to describe his/her problems and to interact with the system for finding ways of solution.
