Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this article, we explain a new CAI system, SIL (A System for Supporting Independent Learning), that present an learning environment supporting independent learning. This system has two features. One is an indirect instruction, and another is a self-explanation. We discuss the usability of the self-explanation that support independent learning. We consider self-explanation for learners to grasp their own ability and use positive lesson induction. We implement functions that present and modify self-explanation as relating the later problems on this system.
