Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Regarding sequential machines (SMs) as discrete time dynamical systems, state space models for SMs can be constructed over {0, 1}, then linear algebraic approaches are made possible for SMs. In this paper, as one of such approaches, we construct the state observers for SMs. Next we investigate the correspondence of them to the adaptive homing sequences of which are made use for estimating the state of SMs in sequential machine theory. Further, we also construct the initial state observers and the state synchronizers. The former estimate the initial state of SMs and the latter estimate the present state using only the input strings.
