Abstract(in English) | This paper reports on application of the ultra-thin soft magnetic metal film positioned near an antenna to improved radiation pattern of cellular phones experimentally. By using the magnetic metal film, it is found that the radiation characteristics at the needed direction is improved extremely and the radiation energy at the opposite direction(human head side)decreases. The magnetic metal sheet through four insulating films piled up five ultra-thin magnetic films of 0.5μm in thick causes about 2dB(66%radiation efficiency)improvement of radiation characteristics and about 10dB reduction at the opposite side with human model. That effectiveness is appeared clearly in the cellular phones closed by human model. |
