Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We numerically investigated the plasmon-resonance absorption with T-matrix method for the conical mounting of a diffraction metal Fourier grating where the plane of incident is not perpendicular to the grating grooves. In conical mounting, the plasmon-resonance absorption occurs both a TM and a TE polarized incident wave, and then the mode conversion occurs between an incidence wave and a diffracted wave through the plasmon-resonance absorption. The TE-TM mode conversion was analyzed which has not been analyzed by the T-matrix method by formulizing the unknown coeffcient of an incident wave and a reflected wave for TE and TM component using a vector mode function.
