Measurement of Electromagnetic Fields in the Vicinity of a Monopole Antenna and Estimation of the Waveform of the Exciting Voltage

Abstract(in English) In order to examine a waveform reconstruction technique using the complex antenna factor (CAF) in the vicinity of a monopole antenna, the waveform of an electromagnetic pulse reconstructed by CAF is compared with the waveform calculated from the exciting voltage in a small dipole model. As a result, the reconstructed and calculated waveforms agree well for the magnetic fields. In addition, the waveform of the exciting voltage is estimated from the reconstructed waveform and compared with the measured result. The two waveforms are close.
