Elimination of Parallel-Plate Modes of a Printed Slot Antenna with Rectangular Coaxial Feeding

Abstract(in English) A rectangular coaxial feeding to eliminate parallel-plate modes in a printed slot antenna is proposed. An antenna structure is designed in 10GHz band by using the FDTD method. The calculated radiation efficiency is improved compared with that of the conventional tri-plate feeding. The measured reflection coeffeicient shows the validity of the FDTD calculation
