Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We develop a numerical solution to the scattering problem with regard to perpendicularly crossed multi-layered strip gratings. This structure is regarded as a microscopic model of electromagnetic wave absorbing sheet of the fiber type. The boundary value problem is formulated into the set of integral equations, which is discretized to the linear equations by applying the moment method. Numerical computation is carried out for the distribution of the incident power to the reflected, transmitted, and absorbed powers. The absorbing rate exceeds 94% by a proper choice of grating parameters. The equivalent circuit parameters of the crossed resistive grating is also obtained.
