Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents resonant characteristics of the method for measuring dielectric constants of dielectric materials. The measurement method described here is to use the forced resonance of an electrically small cavity filled with the dielectric specimen. The forced resonance is obtained by controlling the external reactance, and it is found that there exist two types of resonances, series resonance and parallel one.The results show that the series resonance is more useful for actual measurements of dielectric constant than the parallel resonance.
