Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is generally considered that no ESD generates on the Raised Floor Systems for computer rooms, because they are prevented from electrical charge. But Floor panels sometimes get electrical insulated as time goes on.We confirmed that this type of floor panels take electrical charge by the movements of carts or operators, and ESD generates. The noise voltage, that induces in the interface-line-cable for computer equipments set up under the floor panels, was over the noise margin of the logical integrated circuits at that time, and it caused the malfunction of computer equipments. Then we took a measure to insert a special designed conductive pad of between the floor panels and the pedestals,so no ESD generated and the number of the malfunction decreased.
