Abstract(in English) A digital IC on a multi-layered PCB drives high frequency current between the power and the ground planes, and the resonance of the planes as a plane antenna causes serious EMI. Previously the authors reported a scheme to suppress the high frequency current ; the power-supply plane is de-coupled by inserting an inductance between the plane and the IC. In the previous report, the minimum inductance value for the decoupling was derived. In this report, the relationship between the inductance and the current is investigated experimentally. As a result, the scheme to evaluate the minimum inductance required for decoupling is confirmed.
